These calculators are able to solve the problems including step by step solution.
The calculators are divided into several groups, the description is available if you move your mouse on the name of each group (the first row of the menu).
About this page
  • This site contains interface to access computer algebra system Maxima and automatically solve selected typical problems from mathematical courses, including intermediate steps in the solution.
  • Choose a caluclator using button on the top of this page, finll in your data and click Submit button. An answer formated as PDF file appears in your browser or downloads to your computer (this depends on the settings of your computer).
  • The computing unit for this page is hosted on the server of the Department of wood technology.

  • Remember to use * for multiplication, write 2*x and not 2x for "two eks".
  • The user input is processed by the Open Source programs Maxima, gnuplot, formconv, MetaPost and formated by pdfLaTeX.
